Watcharin is presently an English tutor and the managing director of Alliworth Co., Ltd., a hearing aid service company based in Korat. Up until 2002 he had been an associate director of Arthur Andersen Business Advisory Ltd. During 2008-2009 he was a quality assurance director of 15 Business Advisory Ltd., an appraisal service firm.

At AABA Watcharin headed the Strategy Services Group in Bangkok office. He specializes in corporate and competitive strategy planning, strategic session/visioning workshop, project feasibility study, market/business development and client satisfaction survey. Watcharin commands over 10 years experience in providing consulting services to multinational conglomerates, government organizations, and large enterprises in various industries including power and utilities, telecommunications, transportation, electronics, manufacturing and services. 

Prior to joining Arthur Andersen, Watcharin started his career with a company in Middle East, Saudi Public Transport & Co., Ltd. during 1980-1983.  He assumed major responsibility in the areas of finance, accounting and transport scheduling.  Watcharin joined Arthur Andersen in 1983 and assumed a position of senior consultant for Management Information Consulting services.  In the mid of his services to Arthur Andersen, he left for a famous consumer product company, Nestle’ Products (Thailand) Inc., as an assistant marketing research manager during 1989-1993.   His areas of responsibilities also covered retail audit, shelf offtake and consumer pulse monitor of all Nestle’ products sold in Thailand.  Since then he returned to Arthur Andersen to work actively in the Strategic Consulting areas.

Education & Training :

Watcharin retained a Bachelor of Economics given by Thammasat University, Bangkok in 1979, with major courses in quantitative analysis and minors in English.  He also obtained a mini MBA from University of Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) in 1998. With reference to professional trainings, his special business courses include “Business Practices” at Manila, Philippines in October 1987, “Data Base Management” at St. Charles & Chicago, USA. during July-November 1988, “Business Policy Game” at St. Charles, Chicago, USA. in July 1993, “Corporate Strategy” at Kuala Lumpur,  Malaysia in 1996, etc.
